Mixed Media Wall Art
In 1984, I began expanding my range of materials beyond oil and acrylic paint to include silicone, glitter, tape, found objects, cardboard, etc. This made many of the works no longer suitable for placement under glass, or too bulky to be applied to canvas, making some works into more sculptural wall pieces than actual paintings. As such, these very unique and very dimensional works are not archival, however if you keep them out of the sun they will last for many years. These works range in size from 12" x 12" to approximately 3' x 3' My newest series is made primarily of cardboard which is then painted and further embellished with both found and purchased items.
